Arknights is a tower defense mobile game developed by Chinese developers Studio Montagne and Hypergryph. It was released in China on 1 May 2019, and worldwide on 16 January 2020 by Yostar. The core gameplay is that of a tower defense game, with a number of characters ("operators") as towers. Melee operators can be placed on ground tiles and ranged operators on elevated tiles. Melee operators physically block enemies from advancing, and ranged operators deal ranged damage, heal or otherwise support melee operators. Players must place operators on the correct tiles to prevent the enemy from infiltrating the player's base. Because there is often a limited number of viable solutions, especially at high difficulties, Arknights has also been described as a puzzle game.
Each stage of the game has at least one set solution to beat it. The characters that you can roll for in the gacha system are the units you place down to beat the incoming swarm of bad guys. Each character has a unique set of abilities and are divided into classes, like guard, vanguard, sniper, caster, defender, medic, supporter, and specialist.

There is something ridiculously satisfying about being stumped on a hard level, not knowing how to beat a new boss or get past a certain wave of enemies, and then figuring it out. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t see new levels or events often, but that downtime can be used to take a break from the game or farm materials to power up your characters.
The reason i review this game is because i like puzzle games. And also i want to introduce a game genre like this to everyone, especially to Indonesians who mostly only know game genres such as MOBA, FPS, and Battle Royale.
Evaluation, Judgment, and Opinions.
Many other gacha games have a multiplayer competitive element, forcing you to search for new gacha units so you don't get left behind. However, Arknights' only multiplayer feature involves helping your friends by letting them borrow your unit or sending them the items they need to get cash.
With a bit of grinding and powering up, I can effectively beat the hardest levels in Arknights with nothing but low-rarity characters.
This game doesn't take much time, that's because this game uses an energy system in this game called sanity.
If your sanity runs out you can't clear the stage you want to clear. So you can continue your real life activities while waiting for the sanity to be full again.
The storyline in each chapter is also interesting. And the past stories of all the characters are also different.
One thing I want from this game is the added chat feature, so we can chat with our friends about anything, for example about in-game events, discussions about how to clear stages, or how much to spend money to get a rare characters.
Conclusion and Recommendation
I very recommend this game, this game allows players to be creative in determining what strategy and character to complete all the stages.
Not all stages require rare characters, you can also complete stages with common characters. And there are also many people who are willing to spend their money to get all of rare characters.
